Week ending November 20, 2025
It's Friday once again! Firstly let me apologise about the sound on the video I made some changes to my setup this week and I haven't been able to find and fix the hissing issue as of yet. Another week has flown by here at Jump24 and us lucky PHP developers have had the joys of PHP8.5 being released on Thursday, so lets get down to the top ten Laravel and PHP things I've found this week.

Luke Kuzmish with "Improving unit test run time in a Laravel modular monolith" - this post goes into detail about a bottleneck Luke found in the test suite at work which then lead him to create a PR into the framework that was merged and recently released adding 2 new traits to the test suite to help us speed up our tests suites -
